My End of Summer Bucket List

Jul 30, 2017

Since my last post was a little on the serious side, I wanted to do something fun + lighthearted this time around. What could be more fun than an end of summer bucket list?! I have 10 things I really want to do before I head back to school (for my last semester ever!!)–most of which involve me eating some sort of delicious food. Shocking, right?

High-waisted denim from Wild Blue Denim. Rose gold sandals from Steve Madden.

1. Bobbie's Dairy Dip – Apparently I'm the only person in Nashville who hasn't been to this place, and I'm determined to change that in the next month. It seriously looks like the cutest place and I mean, it's ice cream, so how could it not be good???

2. No Baked Cookie Dough – The fact that I haven't had this "edible cookie dough" yet makes me question the decisions I've made this summer. Clearly I'm not spending my time in the right places. It's a cart that SELLS COOKIE DOUGH. Sign me up.

3. Caviar & Bananas – Yes, I know, everyone on Instagram has already told you about this one. It's pretty much the trendiest thing to hit Nash all summer. Hence why I have to go.

4. Wilson County Fair – For any of my Nashville transplant friends, this is the best fair around! I've been every year since age five and 10/10 recommend. All the fried food (butter, Reese's, cheesecake, alligator, you name it...they fry it).

5. Solar Eclipse  If you haven't heard, there's a solar eclipse coming up and Nashville is the biggest city in its path (#blessed). This is a rare event so I am excited to experience it in my hometown!

6. A Day Trip (or two) – So far I have no clue where I should take a day trip to, but I would love some suggestions! Send me a message on Insta @sarah.tidwell or comment below.

7. Nashville Sounds Game – Because is it really summer without a baseball game? Plus, The Band Box. Need I say more?

8. Brunch at Five Daughters Bakery – PSA: Apparently Five Daughters has brunch at their Franklin location?! So sad that it took me this long to realize that, but I'm def checking it out ASAP.

9. Get organized – A new semester means lots of new tasks and challenges. I always try to get myself organized before classes start so that I feel ready to accomplish whatever gets thrown my way. (Stay tuned for a back to school post!)

10. Spend some extra quality time with friends + fam – Because unfortunately I can't take my friends and family back to school with me (wouldn't that be great, though?), I plan to make the most of my time with them while I can.

So what do you have planned for the rest of summer? I would love to know and add some of your ideas to my own list! Let me know if you check out any of these places, and follow me on Instagram for updates as I check off my bucket list.
