Dear Nashville

Dear Nashville,

While many call you Music City or Athens of the South, I simply call you Home. Growing up you were just my simple little town with an abundance of honky tonks and a pretty average NFL team (okay, so that part hasn't really changed...). I had no desire to stick around, and hoped college would be my excuse to move on to bigger and better things.

But Nashville, like always, you surprised me and became so much more than my simple little town. By the time I turned 18 you had convinced me there was no better city in the entire world. Your skyline, your people, your ability to turn dreams into reality–these characteristics have captured my heart and I've never been more grateful to call you Home.

My End of Summer Bucket List

Jul 30, 2017

Since my last post was a little on the serious side, I wanted to do something fun + lighthearted this time around. What could be more fun than an end of summer bucket list?! I have 10 things I really want to do before I head back to school (for my last semester ever!!)–most of which involve me eating some sort of delicious food. Shocking, right?

High-waisted denim from Wild Blue Denim. Rose gold sandals from Steve Madden.

1. Bobbie's Dairy Dip – Apparently I'm the only person in Nashville who hasn't been to this place, and I'm determined to change that in the next month. It seriously looks like the cutest place and I mean, it's ice cream, so how could it not be good???

A Local's Guide to Summer Eats in Nashville

Jun 20, 2017

As a Nashville native, I love showing people around our growing city. Whenever friends text me asking where to eat while they're in town, I am always ready with an answer. Summer is the perfect time to visit Music City, and if you're wondering about all the trendy coffee shops, popular brunch spots, or what the heck "hot chicken" is, keep reading!

COFFEE + BRUNCH
Note: I recently had one of my best friends from East Tennessee visit, and up until her visit, she didn't understand my love for brunch or the fact that, yes, it really is that popular in Nashville. So if you're a brunch-doubter, I encourage you to try at least one of these places between the hours of 9AM and 2PM. I promise you won't regret it!
